When I first decided that this would be the summer I was going to (finally) teach myself how to play the guitar, things didn't go so well. I popped my 'A' string after only one practice, and taking my guitar to the shop is expensive as hell. There's a good chance I won't be getting Valenciana (that's her name) fixed for a while. But the good thing about the guitar is there are plenty of strings to play with. So, using only three strings, I've been slowly teaching myself how to play. And this week, I finally learned how to play my first song ("Transparent Souls" by WILLOW, it's SO good), and I did it all with a broken 'A' string!
