It's not COVID, and it's not strep, but it still took me out. These past couple of weeks have been spent battling and recovering from a virus that's making its rounds in the community. Seeing that I wear my mask literally everywhere (even when taking out the trash), I was pissed to realize that I'd been got by a common viral infection.
Let me tell you: having to take care of business while you attempt to take care of your sickly body is one of THE WORST things about adulting. It's a cliché, but I don't care; it's true—I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired!
